How to remove mouse 'cursor' on VICE 2.4 (C64 Emu) & Fuse (Spectrum Emu)

Hi all,
I downloaded and compiled VICE 2.4 on my Pimame 0.7.10, but have a mouse cursor in the top left hand part of the screen. The same goes for FUSE. Would look like your running the original hardware if it was not for the stupid mouse icon!!!
Can I removed this? I see there is a prog called 'unclutter' but not sure how to use it.
