Mouse not working with Mame4All
Got my trackball (mouse) working again. You can't have the joystick and trackball connected at the same time. Disconnected the joystick before starting Mame4All, trackball worked fine. So I guess the next question is, how do you get them to wo…

Mouse not working with Mame4All
Does Mame4all point toward a specific mouse device? e.g. /dev/mice or /dev/mouse0?

Same problem, no mouse in Mame4All. Mouse works fine in Stella. In mame.cfg, I have mouse=yes. I also tried mouse=1. Neither worked.

MAME / AdvanceMAME etc.
Mame4all uses mame 0.37b5 compatible roms and advancemame uses mame 0.106 compatible roms. Mame4all seems to run cleaner on Raspberry pi, but has less features.

Sound in Stella
Thanks for the update. I will keep notifications on for this thread for updates. One thing I noticed about Stella, seems to kick out a lot of verboxe log info while running. Might be worth looking at.

Games are slow
Are you running from within X-windows? If so, don't. Stella was really slow when I ran it from within X-windows. Booting to terminal (not X), then running Stella fixed the speed problem.

I'm having the same issue. The sound lags a good 10-15 seconds behind the video. From what I have read in different forums, looks like an audio driver issue, not PiMame or Stella. If someone has a working driver or other workaround, please post.
