Recommend cheap controllers
i have been using these usb snes controllers called 'ibuffalo' and they are great! dpad feels good, no mushy buttons. good stuff! all the other usb classic pads like nes and snes had some scary reviews.

Crash to cmd line when starting an emulator with USB controller plugged in
I thought this issue might coincide with my issue as well for emulators crashing to command line, as i also had a ibuffalo SNES USB controller plugged in, but alas it seems they are not related. Even unplugged they crash.

i too was wondering if its possible to use the original frontend of emulators like final burn and mameforall, as it had some nice cataloging features.

hey Shea! i went ahead and reinstalled pimame, but got the same results. most the arcade emu's seem to run: mame4all, fba, neogeo all crash. advance mame seems to run ok, if a little slow. is there a chance my image was corrupted or somethin…

do either of you guys know how to configure the 'insert coin' button on a joystick/gamepad? I like its probably staring me in the face, but i cant find it anywhere, not in the readme or the fba2x config...

anyone know if it possible to set controls for a dpad? mine auto sets for the left analog stick. i can understand not being able to, being based on arcade hardware, just wondering if anyone knew a work around.
