Display by release date not working.
I have the same problem. I selected order by release date and when I enter in an emulator, the system exit to the terminal screen displaying errors.

FBA enable player 2
ops, the problem was that my Xbox joystick had hat0x and hat0y as axis. With --dpad-only option of xboxdrv I resolved.

I noticed that there is a tool called control config. I used it and now all works fine.

chd is missing
It worked, but the games with chd are too heavy for the Raspberry :(.
